InGear Autocare is looking for an enthusiastic Automotive Mechanic Apprentice to join our growing team. Year 1 to 4 Apprencice Mechanics are welcome to apply.

We're a new mechanical workshop backed by a reputable, family-owned smash repair business with more than 20 years in the automotive industry. We work on a variety of vehicles, including fleet, insurance and customer vehicles, so there's plenty to learn and no shortage of hands-on experience.

The Opportunity

This is a great chance for someone who is starting out in the automotive industry or has already begun their apprenticeship and is looking for the right workshop to continue their training.

You'll work alongside experienced tradespeople who can teach you the skills you need to become a confident, qualified mechanic.

n

You'll get hands-on experience with:

- Vehicle servicing and maintenance
n
- Mechanical repairs
n
- Fault finding and diagnostics

- Brakes, suspension and general mechanical work
n
- Fleet and insurance vehicles
n
- Workshop tools and equipment
n
- Learning how a professional automotive workshop operates

You'll be a great fit if you:

- Have a genuine interest in cars and mechanical work

- Enjoy practical, hands-on work

- Are reliable and willing to turn up and give things a go

- Listen, ask questions and want to learn

- Take pride in doing a job properly

- Work well as part of a team
n
- Are keen to complete your Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

- Hold a driver's licence or are working towards obtaining one
