With Me With You
Canberra
A specialist general practice built for those who serve.
We created With Me With You because we kept seeing the same gap: veterans and first responders with complex, service‑related health needs, trying to fit into a general practice model that was never built for them.
We believe that if you genuinely understand the nature of someone's service, physically, mentally, and in how it reshapes their life, you can give them care that actually meets their needs. We believe the same principle applies inside our own walls, a practitioner who feels genuinely supported and unhurried delivers far better care than one running on empty. So we've built With Me With You to be a wholesome, holistic practice, for our patients, and for the people caring for them.
We're sub‑specialised. We don't offer general GP services. What we do is occupational injuries, mental health, lifestyle medicine, and service transition support, delivered face to face, via telehealth, and through outreach clinics, for veterans and first responders exclusively.

How this practice came to be
Our founder, Dr Alexis Badger, is a veteran and former Australian Army Medical Officer with extensive operational and clinical experience.
That experience shaped two observations. First, that veterans and first responders often carry complex, layered physical and mental health conditions tied directly to their service, and mainstream general practice rarely has the structure, time, or specific expertise to do that justice. Second, that clinicians working in high‑pressure environments need to be genuinely well themselves to do their best work, something the traditional model of general practice often overlooks.
With Me With You was built around both, a practice with the clinical depth to properly support the people who've spent their careers supporting everyone else, and a culture that extends that same care to the practitioners working here.
The clinical focus
This work centres on occupational injuries common to frontline and operational roles, the mental health complexity that often accompanies service, lifestyle medicine aimed at long‑term outcomes, and the practical realities of transitioning out of service. It's clinically rich, relationship‑based work with patients who need a GP who understands the context they're coming from, not just the presenting complaint.
About you
You'll need FRACGP or FACRRM, with current unlimited AHPRA registration and specialist registration. Experience in mental health care is essential. Experience with occupational injuries or lifestyle medicine is highly desirable, and any background in veteran or first responder health is a strong plus, though genuine interest and empathy matter just as much as prior exposure.
