Aluminium Welder – Heavy Fabrication Melbourne | $56.50/hr + Super + Overtime | Full-Time Hours

TRS Resourcing is seeking an experienced Aluminium Welder / Fabricator for a well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Melbourne.

This position is suited to a tradesperson with solid experience in MIG welding and fabricating aluminium , who is comfortable working from engineering drawings and takes pride in producing high-quality fabricated assemblies.

The role offers consistent full-time hours, overtime opportunities and the potential for ongoing, long-term work.

The Role Your Duties Will Include

- MIG welding and fabrication of aluminium components and assemblies
- Working with medium to heavy-gauge aluminium
- Reading and interpreting engineering and workshop drawings
- Measuring, cutting, fitting and assembling fabricated components
- Working with fabrication jigs and fixtures
- Completing welds and assemblies to required specifications
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and workshop safety
- Working independently and as part of an established fabrication team

What We're Looking For

- Trade qualification as a Boilermaker, Fabricator or Welder
- Demonstrated aluminium MIG welding experience
- Solid fabrication skills




- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience working with aluminium fabricated assemblies
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Your own reliable transport
- Full Australian working rights
- Two recent employer references

Experience within heavy fabrication, transport equipment, vehicle body building or similar manufacturing environments will be highly regarded but is not essential.
