About the Role

As our Assistant Centre Manager/Educational Leader, you'll work closely with the Centre Director to support the day‑to‑day operation of the service while leading educational practice across the centre.

Key responsibilities include:

- Mentoring and supporting educators to deliver engaging, play‑based learning programs

- Leading curriculum development in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)

- Guiding observation, planning, and assessment practices

- Driving continuous improvement and quality outcomes

- Supporting compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF)



and National Quality Standards (NQS)

- Building strong relationships with children, families, and the local community

- Assisting with leadership and operational responsibilities across the service

- Contributing to a positive, supportive, and high‑performing team culture

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys bringing out the best in others.

You will have:

- A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care

- Previous leadership experience, or the passion and capability to take the next step in your career

- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQF, and NQS

- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills

- The ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a team

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- A current Working with Children Check

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
