We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a delivery team on a 12-month contract in Sydney. This role requires a current AGSVA NV1 security clearance and strong Azure experience.
The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week required in the Sydney office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Manage and optimise build, release and deployment processes
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and automate workplace provisioning
- Support Azure cloud and containerised environments
- Monitor system performance, availability and reliability
- Implement security, compliance and governance controls
- Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure and environment issues
- Work closely with development and operations teams
- Drive continuous improvement across DevOps tooling and automation
Required Skills:
- 5+ years' experience in DevOps,
Platform Engineering or a similar role
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar
- Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, ARM, Bicep or similar
- Docker and Kubernetes experience
- PowerShell, Bash or similar scripting skills
- Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
As part of your application, you will be asked to confirm:
- Current AGSVA NV1 security clearance
- Sydney-based availability
- Ability to work from the office 3 days per week

Contract: 12 months
Rate: $800-$827 per day including super
Location: Sydney - hybrid, 3 days per week in the office
