Due to continued growth and a robust pipeline of major industrial projects, we are seeking experienced Industrial Electricians to join our growing team in a full-time capacity.

n

Based primarily on a major project in Melbourne's Western and South Eastern Suburbs, this role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale industrial automation systems, with ongoing work across future projects as Jarlam Electrics continues to expand.

About The Role

n

Working as part of our Electrical and Automation team, you will be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems supporting advanced manufacturing and warehouse automation projects.

n

The ideal candidate must have the ability to liaise with clients, work within a team and have a good grasp on Industrial practices.

n

Tasks & Responsibilities

n

n
- Installation of industrial electrical equipment, including automated conveyor systems, robots and manufacturing equipment.
n
- Installation and termination of power, control and communications cabling.
n
- Installation of cable tray, conduit and cable support systems.
n
- Electrical fit-out of control panels, field devices and associated equipment.
n
- Installation of motors, sensors, safety devices and field instrumentation.
n
- Point-to-point testing and I/O verification.
n




- Assisting with electrical and automation commissioning activities.
n
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
n
- Diagnosing and rectifying installation defects.
n
- Completing testing documentation and commissioning checklists.
n
- Updating red-line as-built drawings where required.
n
- Working closely with project managers, automation engineers and mechanical installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
n
- Maintaining a strong commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
n

Qualifications & Experience

n

n
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence.
n
- Minimum 3 years' experience in industrial electrical installation.
n
- Experience working on manufacturing, warehousing or automation projects.
n
- Experience terminating power, control and communications cabling.
n
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
n
- Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
n
- Experience with motor installations and industrial control equipment.
n
- Current White Card.
n
- Ability to work both independently and within a project team.
n
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
