MAYDAY Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Assistant to join their team in South Melbourne.

This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys keeping things organised, working as part of a team and making sure stock gets where it needs to go accurately and safely.

What's involved?

n

n
- Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock
n
- Picking, packing and dispatching orders accurately and efficiently
n
- Using ERP systems to record stock movements, including serial numbers, expiry dates and lot details
n
- Ensuring stock is stored correctly and inventory records are kept up to date
n
- Preparing and labelling orders ready for delivery
n
- Checking products on arrival and before dispatch and reporting any issues
n
- Assisting with regular stocktakes and cycle counts
n
- Handling specialised stock, including temperature‐sensitive products, in line with procedures
n
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with general day‐to‐day operations
n

About you

n

n
- Walkie Stacker experience is essential
n
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience
n
- Comfortable working with ERP or inventory management systems
n
- Reliable, organised and detail‐focused
n
- Strong awareness of workplace safety and quality
n
- A hands‐on team player who is happy to pitch in where needed
n
- Available to work full‐time for the duration of the 6‐month temporary contract
n
- Available to start ASAP
n
