We’re looking for a floor-driven, energetic and an overall bloody good human to join the team here at 3030 Waterfront.
We’re a busy, thriving waterfront restaurant with a young, diverse team, so we’re after someone who can lead from the front, keep the floor moving and have a laugh while doing it. You’ll be one of the key people running the show on the floor, making sure service is smooth, the team is supported and our guests have a memorable time.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the floor during busy services
- Keeping service moving and jumping in wherever needed
- Supporting, engaging and managing a young team
- Running pre-service briefings and keeping everyone switched on
- Handling guest questions, feedback and the occasional curveball
- Keeping standards high across service, presentation and hospitality
- Working closely with the kitchen and management team
- Opening and closing the venue when required
- Training and developing new team members
- Helping with day-to-day venue operations
- Being the person the team can rely on when it gets busy
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Naturally confident and comfortable leading a team
- Floor-driven and loves a busy service
- Organised without taking themselves too seriously
- A good communicator with a great sense of humour
- Calm under pressure and able to think on their feet
- Someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality
- Comfortable working with a young and diverse team
- Willing to jump on the floor and get stuck in
- Someone who can hold the team accountable while still being approachable
- Experienced in a supervisor, team leader, duty manager or restaurant management role
