Cavanagh Painting & Maintenance is looking for an experienced, qualified painter to join our small team on the Sunshine Coast.
We have a strong pipeline of confirmed work booked for the remainder of 2026 and beyond and are looking for someone who wants consistent, ongoing work with a small family-owned business.
This is a genuine painting role - not a labouring or entry-level position.
THE ROLE
You'll work directly alongside the business owner across residential repaints, new builds and maintenance projects throughout the Sunshine Coast.
Monday–Friday | 7:00am–3:00pm
You'll be carrying out all aspects of the trade, including:
- Interior and exterior painting
- Preparation, patching, sanding and caulking
- Brush, roller and spray application where appropriate
- Walls, ceilings, doors, trims and exterior surfaces
- Residential repaints and new-build work
- Producing clean, qualified finishes
- Maintaining a clean and organised worksite
WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO
- Is a qualified painter and decorator OR has substantial professional painting experience
- Can confidently complete painting work without constant supervision
- Takes pride in preparation and quality finishes
- Is reliable and turns up when they say they will
- Works well as part of a small team
- Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport
