About the role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for performing machine operation and fitter duties associated with the manufacture and assembly of cylinders and systems. The role involves operating and setting production machinery, carrying out equipment and tool maintenance, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring compliance with company quality, safety and engineering standards.

Key responsibilities

- Perform engineering maintenance functions including removing equipment fastenings,



lubrication of production equipment and adjustments to production equipment as required
- Conduct testing of manufactured items when required in line with company procedures and standards
- Operate, set up and adjust all production machinery in the workshop
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all engineering procedures, operating instructions, and quality assurance requirements
- Work collaboratively to ensure tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on time, while providing exceptional service to customers
- Maintain high standards in health and safety and adhere to all company policies procedures

About you

- Australian recognised trade qualifications
- Solid experience in centre lathe operations, precision machining and screw cutting
- CNC programming and operation experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and proven problem-solving ability
