The Role

n

Please note this role is based in Perth, Western Australia. We're open to candidates located in the Eastern States. Relocation costs and arrangements will be considered for this role.

n

Reporting to the Building Manager, the Area Manager will be responsible for ensuring that our Site Managers are achieving their operational objectives to high standards.

n

- Set, review and ensure progress claims and practical completion targets are achieved in line with rolling budgets
n
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
n
- Review onsite production and timeframes to ensure efficiencies and delivery is in line with agreed build templates
n




- Promote and maintain a safe working environment on site as well as the implementation of new initiatives to ensure a market-leading safety approach
n
- Coach and mentor Site Managers, and manage recruitment and resourcing in collaboration with the Building Manager
n
- Drive initiatives and opportunities for improvement across Construction
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

n

n
- Strong Site Management Experience, at least 4-5 years
n
- Experience in Brick Veneer building methodologies is highly regarded.
n
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to influence and lead a team
n
- Sound residential construction knowledge, ability to interpret building plans, inspection reports and specifications
n
- Competence in Microsoft Office Suite and PowerBI
n
- Have the ability to demonstrate customer service skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external customers
n
- Have a can-do positive attitude, be highly organised and target driven
n
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
