We are looking for a people-focused Recruitment Consultant to join our Melbourne team and support our growing portfolio of aviation clients.

This is an opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships, working closely with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact for both customers and employees.

Working within the fast-paced aviation environment, you will manage recruitment and workforce requirements across a range of airport-based operations. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organised, approachable and enjoys being out with clients rather than simply working behind a desk.

About the Role

n

You will support our aviation clients with their day-to-day recruitment and workforce requirements while developing strong relationships and ensuring we consistently deliver a high level of service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Recruitment & Candidate Management

n

Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job brief through to candidate placement.

n

Source candidates using job boards, databases, social media, referrals, and other recruitment channels.

n

Screen and interview candidates to assess their skills, experience, qualifications, and suitability.

n

Conduct reference checks and ensure all required compliance documentation is completed.

n

Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the recruitment system.

n

Build and maintain a strong talent pool for current and future client requirements.

n

Coordinate interviews, inductions, onboarding, and placement of successful candidates.

n

About You

n

Relationships are at the heart of this role.

n

We are looking for someone who is confident communicating with people at all levels and understands that successful recruitment is about more than simply filling vacancies.





n

You will ideally have:

n

Previous experience in recruitment, account management, workforce management or another client-facing role

n

Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills

n

- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
n
- Understand client workforce requirements, including headcount, skills, shift patterns, and operational needs.
n

n

A proactive approach and willingness to pick up the phone, visit clients and stay connected

n

The ability to work effectively in a fast-moving operational environment

n

Strong organisation and time-management skills

n

Confidence managing competing priorities and changing workforce requirements

n

Experience within aviation, logistics, warehousing or labour hire would be highly regarded but is not essential

n
