Casual Warehouse Assistant / Driver

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Casual Warehouse Assistant / Driver to support our warehouse and event operations. The role combines general warehouse duties - including picking, packing, cleaning and organising stock with driving responsibilities to deliver and collect graduation regalia and event equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Receive, sort and put away stock and equipment returned from events
- Pick and pack graduation regalia and event equipment according to the event calendar
- Liaise with Event Managers across each state to ensure job requirements are prepared accurately and on time
- Load and unload graduation regalia,



equipment and other event stock
- Deliver and collect items from universities, venues and event locations across Australia, as required
- Assist with regular stocktakes and inventory management
- Wash, steam and iron graduation gowns and hoods—this is a significant part of the role, as we take great pride in ensuring our regalia is clean and professionally presented for every event
- Ensure event bump-in schedules are met and all stock is delivered on time and in excellent condition
- Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised warehouse
- Assist with setting up and packing down event equipment when required
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and transport regulations

Requirements

- A current Medium Rigid (MR) driver’s licence is essential
- Must be fully competent and confident driving vehicles
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or event operations role is desirable
- Ability to safely lift and move heavy or bulky items
- Competent using a walkie forklift
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent time-management skills and a reliable work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on an as‑needed basis, including some evenings and weekends during peak graduation periods
- Willingness to travel and drive to event locations when required
