Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior E⁣ Designer to join our project team in Melbourne CBD on a 6months contract with possibility of extension. This role will be responsible for developing I, E & C design deliverables across projects in the O&G; and pharmaceutical industries in collaboration with I, E & C Engineers. Interaction with designers and engineers within the I, E & C discipline, as well as other disciplines, in a team environment will be key to create multi-discipline design packages.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the I, E & C design for wiring diagrams, E&I; layouts, and design details as required
- Clear and timely communication regarding design change issues
- Liaison, support and timely transfer of information to other disciplines
- Respond to technical queries
- Contribute to site installation and commissioning information as required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years general design drafting experience
- Understanding of discipline technology and other discipline requirements
- Ability to problem-solve effectively
- Attention to detail
- Competent with AutoCAD
- Competent in 3D PDMS
- Competent in using SPI
