About The Role

This is a hands-on Workplace Project Manager contract focused on the delivery phase of an established program of workplace and building projects.

With project planning already progressed, you will take funded projects through delivery, coordinating contractors, stakeholders and project resources to achieve agreed programme, budget, safety and quality outcomes. Projects include fit-outs and building upgrades across operational facilities, corporate environments and depots.

Rate: $650-$750/day + super

Location: Parramatta + other project sites

Work Arrangement: Predominantly onsite 3-4 day

Hours: 40 hours per week

Travel: Regular travel across Sydney and surrounding project locations with Work vehicle provided for authorised project travel

Checks: Police check + 2 reference checks

Project locations may extend across Greater Sydney and surrounding areas, including the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Katoomba and Wollongong regions. Required PPE must be worn when attending applicable operational sites.

Key Responsibilities

- Take funded workplace projects through the delivery and completion phases.
- Deliver fit-out, refurbishment and building upgrade projects across operational and corporate sites.
- Manage project scope, programme, budgets, quality, risks and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate contractors, consultants, suppliers and internal project stakeholders.
- Manage procurement, contracts, variations and project expenditure.
- Maintain a strong site presence and resolve delivery issues.
- Administer NEC4 and other project contracts.
- Maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project, Primavera or similar.
- Manage safety, site access, contractor compliance and operational interfaces.
- Lead project meetings and provide progress,



risk and performance reporting.
- Manage project documentation, handover and close-out.

About You

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager with proven experience delivering and completing construction, workplace or fit-out projects, not just planning or project coordination.

- 5+ years' relevant Project Management experience preferred.
- Strong workplace, fit-out, refurbishment, construction or building upgrade experience.
- NSW Government project experience highly regarded.
- Experience delivering projects across active operational sites.
- Relevant qualification in Utilities, Construction, Property, Engineering, Architecture or Project Management.
- Current White Card required.
- Robust contractor, cost, programme, risk and stakeholder management skills.
- NEC4 and SAP experience highly regarded.
- Microsoft Project or Primavera experience.
- Comfortable travelling between sites and working predominantly on site.
- Full Australian working rights required. No sponsorship available.
