East Coast Apprenticeships are currently seeking a motivated and reliable candidate to commence a Fibrous Plastering Apprenticeship while completing a Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining.
Duties may include:
- Installing plasterboard to walls and ceilings
- Fixing standard plasterboard wall and ceiling sheets
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Cutting and fixing cornices
- Assisting with general plastering tasks as directed by the host employer
To be successful, you will ideally:
- Be eligible to undertake an apprenticeship
- Be well-presented, reliable, and punctual
- Have a positive attitude and robust willingness to learn
- Be motivated and eager to build a long-term career in the construction industry
- Hold a driver's licence and have reliable transport
- Some Carpentry experience
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining
- Earn while you learn
- Ongoing mentoring and support from a dedicated East Coast Apprenticeships Field Officer
- Long-term career opportunities for the right candidate
- Develop valuable trade skills with an experienced host employer
