Job Description
Nature is an independent strategic insights consultancy. We provide guidance and advice to a diverse range of businesses, which is grounded in consumer evidence. At its core, we help our clients grow, unlock their competitive advantage, and make important decisions with confidence.
n
Our work helps our clients build great brands, launch and optimise products and services, and deliver exceptional experiences. As a Certified B Corp, we are part of the global movement to innovate economic and operational systems to have a positive impact on society, the community, our planet, clients and our team.
n
We are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
n
About the role
n
This is an in-office role Junior Designer role and is ideal for someone with 1+ years of professional design experience, looking to build on their foundations and grow their craft within a small, close-knit design function. This role will give you the opportunity to learn and grow as you help shape the look and feel of Nature's deliverables.
n
A large part of your work will involve data visualisation, presentation design and layout, bringing research to life through clear, effective, brand-aligned storytelling in PowerPoint. You'll work closely with consultants across a wide range of client projects, helping them identify what really matters in the data and visualising it in a way that creates impact.
n
Content creation is a growing priority, and photography and videography sit high on the wish list: event coverage, video content, and photo assets that bring Nature's brand and campaigns to life.
n
You'll also contribute to proposals, reports, and marketing collateral,
working with the Head of Marketing on marketing-related work. You'll report into and work closely with the Senior Designer, who'll provide day-to-day guidance, feedback and mentorship as you grow your craft.
n
As part of a supportive team structure, you'll access ongoing guidance, inspiration, and opportunities to expand your skills — including templates, training and exposure to alternative visual formats like infographics, motion, video and digital-first outputs.
n
If you're curious, collaborative and love solving design problems, we'd love you to read on.
n
Key responsibilities
n
Work with consultants to turn data and insights into clear, engaging visual stories using PowerPoint and other tools.
n
Create and refine designs to a high standard, producing client-ready outputs that are accurate, clear and aligned to Nature's brand.
n
Maintain and develop templates, visual guidelines and inspiration decks that lift Nature's design capability.
n
Stay current with design trends, tools and methods and experiment with new formats including infographics, motion, video and simple web-based visualisation.
n
Partner with the Head of Marketing on marketing assets such as social graphics, brochures, digital content and simple website visuals.
n
Take the lead on photography and videography as opportunities arise.
n
Manage multiple projects and deadlines with care and attention to detail.
n
About you
n
Has 1+ years of professional design experience, alongside a qualification in design, visual communication or a related field.
n
Has a portfolio that shows good fundamentals — layout, grid systems, composition, colour, typography, hierarchy and clarity.
n
Has experience working within brand guidelines and applying them consistently across formats.
n
Is organised, detail-oriented and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
n
Is excited by data visualisation, presentation design and making complex information easy to understand.
n
Is comfortable in PowerPoint, with a genuine willingness to build strength here.
n
Has experience with, or a robust interest in, photography and videography.
n
Enjoys collaborating with others and turning briefs into polished, client-ready outputs.
n
Wants to learn, try new things, and grow their craft.
n
A snapshot of our values to tell you what we care about
n
Owner's Mindset: We treat the business like it is our own. We care deeply, take responsibility and always go the extra mile.
n
Solve Together: We collaborate openly, seek diverse perspectives and find smarter solutions as a team.
n
Embrace Change: We lean into discomfort, challenge how things have always been done, and share what we're learning along the way.
n
Seek Growth: We embrace learning and feedback, own our mistakes and use them as opportunities to grow.
n
Positive Impact: We aim to make a difference for colleagues, clients, community and planet.
