Tamworth Aboriginal Medical Service - Aboriginal Corporation (TAMS-AC) is looking for an experienced and passionate clinician to step into a leadership role as our Clinical Services Coordinator.

About the Role

n

As the Clinical Services Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day operations of the clinic. You will work closely with the Clinical Operations Manager to ensure the clinic operates efficiently, maintains accreditation standards, and continues to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of clinic services.
n
- Lead and support the clinic team to deliver positive patient experiences and improved health outcomes.
n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with General Practices, Aboriginal Medical Services, hospitals, specialists and other healthcare providers.
n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and program documentation.
n




- Prepare monthly and annual activity and evaluation reports as required.
n
- Support and maintain compliance with AGPAL Accreditation Standards.
n
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the clinic.
n
- Provide leadership, mentoring and support to clinic staff.
n
- Develop and implement systems and procedures that strengthen service delivery and accreditation compliance.
n
- Foster positive internal and external working relationships.
n
- Lead monthly clinic meetings with support from the Clinical Operations Manager.
n
- Provide relief and operational support for the Clinical Operations Manager during periods of leave.
n

About You

n

n
- Aboriginality is a genuine occupational requirement for this position under Section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
n
- Demonstrated experience delivering health services to Aboriginal communities.
n
- Robust understanding of health issues impacting Aboriginal peoples and communities.
n
- Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
n
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams.
n
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills.
n
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
n
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
n
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
n
- Current National Police Check.
n
- Current NSW Driver Licence.
n
- Current AHPRA registration as an Aboriginal Health Practitioner.
n
- Experience working within Aboriginal communities and/or health
n
- Understanding of the impacts of colonisation, intergenerational trauma, and disadvantage on Aboriginal communities.
n
- Relevant management or healthcare qualifications or training are desirable but not essential.
n
