As a Dentist you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Meet with patients, establish a rapport, and discuss about their dental issues
- Diagnose dental infections using a variety of procedures such as saliva test, medical histories and x-rays
- Ensure patients receive great treatment by owrking cooperatively with other staff members
- Perform oral surgical procedures including but not limited to tissue biopsies and providing prescriptions for medications
- Perform regular orthodontic procedures
- Provide restorative dentistry care, including orthodontics, complicated crown and bridge restorations, implants, as well as repairing and replacing decayed and broken teeth
- Provide preventative dental care, like fluoride applications, periodontal treatments,
and do oral health promotion
- Restore dental function using detachable and permanent oral prosthesis
- Aide in the diagnosis of general disorders with oral symptoms, including diabetes
Successful applicants must have the following:
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent
- Relevant registration with AHPRA to work as a Dentist in Australia
