- MS SQL / Teradata /Snowflake / Redshift / Databricks Demonstrated competency in developing, auditing and reviewing code in 2 out of the 5 Data Warehouses listed.
- High level of competency in Programming, including knowledge of supplementary programming languages such as Python, SAS, R or Java.
- Strong expertise with SQL, including experience with reverse-engineering end user SQL code.
- Ability to read and interpret data models and specifications.
- Ability to understand DevOps process and can use DevOps tools in accordance with the process.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of version controls and its appropriate uses.

Essential criteria

Desirable criteria

- Minimum of 4 years in a similar role
- Exposure to AWS Cloud, AWS S3, AWS Glue or similar tools within the cloud workplace.
- Competency with required systems, software and programs, including SAS and Excel.
- Demonstrated experience data modelling using metadata/model driven frameworks.
- Tertiary qualifications in mathematics, statistical, computer sciences discipline or more than three years relevant work experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
