360HR Solutions is partnering with Globetech to recruit an experienced an experienced sales professional with a background in engineering solutions to support the continued growth of its engineering and automation business.

Globetech delivers engineered solutions across electrical engineering, industrial automation, system integration, motion and drive systems, control systems, panel manufacturing, electrical construction, commissioning and maintenance. Its customers operate across steel, mining, materials handling, cement, water, process industries and general manufacturing.

This is a commercially focused role with a strong emphasis on developing new business.

You will work closely with Globetech’s engineering team to identify customer needs, develop technically appropriate solutions and convert opportunities into current projects and long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

- Identifying and developing new customers and project opportunities
- Building and managing a qualified sales pipeline
- Developing relationships across industrial and engineering markets
- Understanding customers' technical, operational and commercial requirements
- Working with engineers to develop fit-for-purpose solutions
- Supporting proposals, tenders and commercial submissions
- Progressing opportunities from initial engagement through to negotiation and award
- Identifying repeat work, upgrades and expansion opportunities with existing clients

The role is primarily focused on new business development, with existing-customer growth as a secondary responsibility.

You

We are interested in candidates who bring:





- Experience selling into industrial, engineering, manufacturing, mining, process, infrastructure or similar markets
- Some technical or application knowledge within electrical, automation, controls, PLC/SCADA, drives or related industrial systems, or strong exposure to engineered services, technical equipment or project-based solutions
- The ability to communicate credibly with engineering, maintenance, operations and project stakeholders
- A commercially minded, proactive and self-directed approach

An engineering, electrical, automation, mechatronics or related technical qualification would be advantageous, but equivalent industry experience will also be considered.

Location

The preference is for candidates based in Wollongong, the Illawarra or within a practical commuting distance of Unanderra.

The role will also involve customer engagement and travel across NSW.
