Join our hospital kitchen team as a Chef and elevate the healthcare dining experience! You will be responsible for creating high-quality, delicious meals for patients, staff, and hospital functions while championing food safety, hygiene, and culinary excellence.

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Chef to join our Catering Services teamPart Time with flexibility to work across a rotating roster.

n

In this role, you will:

n

n
- Prepare nutritious and appetising meals for patients, staff, doctors, the café, and hospital functions.
n
- Uphold food quality, hygiene, and safety standards in line with regulatory requirements.
n
- Support daily kitchen operations including ordering, stock rotation, and food safety compliance.
n
- Work collaboratively in a busy team environment, reporting to the Executive Chef.
n

Key Responsibilities:

n

n
- Preparation and cooking of meals (including cold larder and special diets).
n
- Understanding and meeting patient dietary requirements.
n
- Ensuring food safety compliance (HACCP) and accurate record keeping.
n
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and equipment.
n
- Assisting with stock management and ordering.
n

What You Will Bring

- Strong understanding of food hygiene and OH&S; standards.

- Proven experience in food preparation for individuals and groups (hospital experience highly regarded).

- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
