About the role:

n

An exciting opportunity exists for a dedicated and hardworking Maintenance Person to join our team on a full-time basis for a six-month fixed term contract position.

n

Reporting directly to the Service and Warranty Manager, this role is responsible for carrying out maintenance and rectification works to homes following the handover process.

n

The Maintenance Person will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, putting clients at ease while undertaking maintenance works and ensuring all repairs are completed to a high standard.

n

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can confidently turn their hand to a wide range of maintenance tasks.

n

This role is initially offered as a six-month contract, with the potential to progress into a Service & Warranty Supervisor position for the right candidate.

n

Some of the key responsibilities include:

n

Undertake maintenance tasks including, but not limited to, general carpentry, plaster repairs, painting, door adjustments and repairs, caulking, and other general maintenance works.

n





Maintain regular communication with Service and Warranty Supervisors regarding ongoing maintenance works.

n

Ensure all work is completed in accordance with VBA Standards and Tolerances, as well as Mimosa Homes' quality and branding expectations.

n

Attend regular meetings with Service and Warranty Manager and Maintenance Supervisors and to ensure jobs are progressing as required and completed within agreed timeframes.

n

Deliver a professional and positive experience for clients while attending their homes.

n

Travel across all company regions as required to undertake maintenance works, attend inspections, and support operational requirements.

To be considered, you should possess:

n

A minimum of two years' experience in a similar maintenance, handyman, or building-related role.

n

A strong commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction.

n

Sound knowledge of VBA Standards and Tolerances.

n

Current driver's licence

n

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

n

The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

n

Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with clients and stakeholders.

n

A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of tasks from start to finish.

n

Ability to work autonomously

n
