This is a hands-on role for a technician with two to four years in the trade who is strong on installation and ready to move into commissioning (if you aren't already).

You will work across our project jobs, including warehouse and distribution fit-outs, corporate office installations and multi-site camera rollouts. You will also carry your own service and maintenance calls for clients we have looked after for years, dealing directly with site contacts and seeing the same systems over time.

We will train you on the platforms you have not worked with, and cover the tickets and manufacturer courses you need.

Day to day, you will be

- Installing and commissioning across our project work
- Programming and commissioning Genetec, Lenel, Avigilon, Inner Range Integriti, Tecom and Axis systems
- Running your own service and maintenance calls
- Fault-finding, and liaising directly with clients and site contacts
- Completing service reports and handover documentation
- Taking an apprentice out with you once you are established
- Working to WHS requirements on every site

About you

- Two to four years in electronic security, or a closely related trade such as data and comms, fire or electrical
- NSW Security Licence, or eligibility to obtain one
- ACMA cabling registration, or most of the way there
- Sound installation skills across cable, containment, mounting, termination and rack builds
- Hands-on experience with at least one CCTV or access control platform
- White Card and a current driver's licence
- Able to work safely and take responsibility for the quality of your own work

Two things matter to us as much as your qualifications. The first is explicit communication: explaining a fault to a client who is not technical,



telling a builder what you need on site without repeated follow-up calls, and leaving notes the next technician can work from. The second is a methodical approach to fault-finding. We would rather employ someone who works a fault through the system, from power and cable path to configuration and device, than someone who replaces parts until the problem goes away.

Training and tickets

We invest in the training needed to do the work properly. That includes manufacturer training on platforms you have not used, working at heights and EWP tickets, cabling registration endorsements, and any other tickets the work requires.

- $90,000 to $110,000 plus super, depending on experience
