POSITION SCOPEAND PURPOSE
The Projects Support Officer position reports directly to theManager – Operations and Organisational Support and works as part of a team where interdependencies and collaborationwith colleagues, QDN members and internal and external stakeholders are critical to the successful delivery of projects,servicesand activities.
TheProjectsSupport Officeris accountable for the delivery of work assignments and projects, recognising when matters need to be referred to management for resolution.They will work to ensure thetimelyachievement of deliverables,
within agreed budgets and performance levels. The position may require some travel.
The appointee will work within the requirements of relevant legislation including the Queensland Human Rights Act, and QDN’s Quality System,demonstratecommitment to continuous improvement and contribute to internal and external auditing processes as required under ISO9001.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The appointee will fulfil the accountabilities of this rolein accordance withhuman rights principles and QDN’s ethics, principles and values as reflected in the organisation’s strategic plan 2024-28.TheProjectsSupport Officer willbe responsible for:
- Assistand support the delivery of pieces of work throughorganisationalprojects including delivery of activities, tracking data and information and administration in conjunction with Lead and other relevant teamsincluding:
- Support system audits and system improvements across the organisation including to improve data quality, user engagement, workflow efficiencies, automation, digitaltransformationand other new implementations.
- Provide responsive systems support across the organisationincluding troubleshooting systems issues.
- Assistin thetraining of staff,administration and development of the CRM system andassistinidentifyinggaps in data collection and implement standardised data governance protocols.
- Provide input to the development of tools that enhance QDN’s capacity to measure impact, supportdecision-makingand streamline operations.
- Assistin creating dashboards to improve reporting
- Support effective communication and liaison with broad range of stakeholders in QDN’s work including internal staff, management, customers, consultants, and other external project stakeholdersincludingdevelopment of materials fortraining and guidance for commonly used systems.
- Assistwith the preparation of project reporting mechanisms and ensure they are communicated with internal and external stakeholders asrequired
- Contribute to continuous improvement culture, businessand organisationalprocess improvementsusing digital toolsand the growth and reputation of QDNthroughcontributing to actions andappropriate change
- Fulfil this rolein accordance withQDN’s policies and proceduresand the Quality Management System.
- Carry out other duties asdeemedreasonable andappropriate tothe role as directed by the Lead/Manager.

-Ability to workwithin established procedures, towards outcomes within defined constraints, manage competing priorities and solve problems using established guidelines
- Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team, exercisingappropriate initiativeandjudgement to solve problemsand seek guidance where appropriate
- Ability to work toidentifybusiness needs and provide recommendations about system solutions.
Technical knowledge in working with digital systems includingMicrosoft 365,Dynamics365,PowerAutomateand Power BI applications.
- Ability to collaborate and consult with stakeholders to co-design systems.
-Soundlevel of knowledge andawareness of the disability sector and/or experience supporting projects in the disability sector would be considered an asset.
QUALIFICATIONS
University degree and/or equivalent relevant worked experience in the areas of business administration, technology, or a related field.
