Labourer / Forklift Operator - Timber Mill | Fyshwick

Programmed Skilled Workforce are looking for reliable, hardworking Labourers with a forklift licence to join a busy timber mill in Fyshwick.

n

If you're someone who likes keeping busy, doesn't mind getting your hands dirty and enjoys seeing a solid day's work behind you, this could be the role for you!

This is an ongoing casual opportunity offering full-time hours (38 per week), with the potential for long-term work and permanency for the right person.

n

About the Role

n

You'll be part of a fast-paced timber production team, helping manufacture timber battens and keeping the yard and production areas running smoothly.

n

No two days are exactly the same, and there's plenty to keep you moving!

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

n
- Operating a forklift to safely move timber products around site
n
- Assisting with production line duties
n
- Stacking, sorting and strapping timber
n
- Manual handling and repetitive lifting
n
- Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe
n
- Supporting the yard and dispatch teams when needed
n
- Working as part of a team to keep production moving
n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful, you'll have:

n

n
- Current Forklift Licence - essential
n
- Timber mill or manufacturing experience is highly regarded, but not essential
n
- Experience in a hands-on, physical role is an advantage
n
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
n
- The fitness and ability to work in a physically demanding role
n




- Reliable transport and a great work ethic
n
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
n

No timber mill experience? No worries! If you've got a forklift licence, a good attitude and are ready to work hard, we want to hear from you. Full training will be provided on the job.
