Physikal Health Services Pty Ltd is seeking a dedicated and skilled Remedial Massage Therapist to join our growing team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. As a Remedial Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in our multidisciplinary team, providing therapeutic massage services to clients with various musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and rehabilitation needs. Key responsibilities

- Conduct thorough initial consultations and ongoing assessments of clients to identify muscular and soft tissue issues, postural problems, and rehabilitation requirements
- Develop and implement individualised remedial massage treatment plans tailored to each client's specific condition, goals, and recovery timeline
- Perform a range of remedial massage techniques, including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, deep tissue massage, and soft tissue mobilisation
- Collaborate effectively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals to ensure integrated and coordinated care
- Maintain detailed and accurate treatment notes and client records in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to a supportive and professional clinic environment that prioritises client safety, dignity, and wellbeing
- Stay current with continuing professional development and industry best practice standards in remedial massage therapy

What we're looking for

- Current registration with the Australian Association of Massage Therapists (AAMT) or equivalent recognised professional body
- Completion of an accredited remedial massage qualification recognised within Australia, typically including practical experience
- Demonstrated experience working with clients presenting with musculoskeletal injuries,



chronic pain conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology relevant to soft tissue therapy and musculoskeletal conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Professional and empathetic approach to client care, with a commitment to evidence-based practice
- Ability to work independently and use clinical reasoning to adapt treatment approaches based on client response and feedback
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Willingness to maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards and duty of care obligations
