We're looking for an exceptional Senior Patternmaker to join one of Australia's most exciting contemporary fashion businesses.

This is an chance to work at the intersection of creativity, technical expertise and exceptional garment construction, partnering closely with Design to turn ideas into beautifully considered, production-ready pieces.

What you'll be doing

n
- Owning pattern and fit development from first pattern through to production
n
- Predominantly working across digital patternmaking, with manual cutting and draping
n
- Partnering with Design to interpret and elevate creative concepts
n
- Developing technically complex, structured and fluid garments
n
- Leading fittings and resolving fit, construction and proportion challenges
n
- Working closely with machinists to achieve exceptional garment execution
n




- Grading approved patterns across the full size range
n
- Helping maintain and evolve the brand's signature fit and silhouette
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 5+ years' senior patternmaking experience in premium, luxury or technically complex womenswear
n
- Exceptional manual and digital patternmaking skills
n
- Lectra experience preferred — strong Gerber experience will also be considered
n
- Advanced draping, fitting and garment construction skills
n
- Strong understanding of fabric, fit and construction
n
- Experience with corsetry, lingerie, bridal, occasionwear or complex womenswear highly regarded
n
- A creative eye and the ability to interpret, problem-solve and improve, rather than simply execute
n
