About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to join an expanding and highly reputable paediatric private practice in Newcastle, NSW. This is a clinic and/or mobile-based position working with children of varying needs across clinic, community, education and telehealth settings.

You will independently assess and treat children from 2 to 18 years, with a caseload including Sensory Processing Disorders, ADHD, ASD, learning difficulties, motor coordination challenges and other developmental, learning and behavioural difficulties. You will enjoy strong clinical autonomy with the flexibility to shape your caseload and pursue areas of clinical interest, backed by a supportive multidisciplinary team of experienced OTs and Speech Pathologists. Full-time, part-time and 9-day fortnight options are available, including telehealth, with hours and days negotiable. Short-term contracts are also available for Working Holiday Visa holders.

About You:

- Recognised degree in Speech Pathology
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status with Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience in Paediatrics and/or working with children (desirable but not essential)
- Specific experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Sensory Processing Disorders (highly regarded)
- Willingness to be on the road
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with therapists, parents, teachers and children
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional education
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid certification
- Current driver's licence and use of own car where required
- Eligible to work permanently in Australia
