About the Role
Our Chlor-Alkali manufacturing facility located in Lytton QLD produces Sodium Hypochlorite, Hydrochloric Acid and Caustic Soda for the water treatment industry, swimming pool industry and local industrial customers. We have a dedicated distribution network that services our depots and clients throughout QLD and NSW.
Coogee is seeking to employ an experienced HV Driver to join our team based in Lytton, QLD. This is apermanent, full-time positionwhere the successful candidate will be required to do a combination of linehaul deliveries and occasional local multi-drop work as required.
Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, this role will see you responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of dangerous goods across our network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operating a heavy vehicle to deliver dangerous goods to various customer sites
- Loading and unloading of vehicle tankers
- Adherence to both company and client site operational and HSE requirements
- Acting as a face for the business and maintaining a high professional standard at all times.
About You
We’re looking for a highly motivated and organised individual who has:
- A current Heavy Vehicle MC licence
- Demonstrated experience within transport operations
- Experience in linehaul deliveries
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries desirable, but not essential
- Mechanical knowledge - desirable, but not essential
- Demonstrable commitment to high quality customer service
- Current TLIF0005 - Apply Fatigue Management Strategies (BFM) qualifications or the willingness to obtain
- A current DG licence or willing to obtain
