The role forms part of our day shift, afternoon shift and night shift.

In this role you will be responsible for a range of tasks including:

- Performing tests and inspections on power transformers to ensure their reliability, efficiency and compliance with industry standards.




- Test failure investigation and reporting
- Ensuring the method or procedure used for testing is verified (for standard method) or validated
- Pre-Commissioning Tests - Turns Ratio Test, Winding Resistance Test, HV Test, Core Grounding & Magnetization Testing
- Performance Validation - LTC, Protection & Control testing, Power Factor Testing
- Reporting & Documentation
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards is maintained
- Collaborate and communicate with engineering teams

You will need proven experience in the following:

- Experience testing transformers with a power rating from 5MVA to 400MVA, and voltage class up to 330KV.
- Safety Awareness.
- Suitable qualifications in electrical engineering with demonstrated experience accordingly.
