Job Description

As a Night Auditor at Best Western Melbourne City, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel during the overnight hours. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working independently. Based in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, you will be responsible for a range of front office and guest services tasks that are crucial to delivering an exceptional experience for our valued guests.

What you'll be doing

- Performing end-of-day audits and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records
n
- Handling guest check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and managing reservations
n
- Responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns that arise during the night shift
n
- Maintaining the security of the hotel by monitoring access points and conducting regular property checks
n
- Assisting with various administrative tasks, such as preparing reports and updating hotel records
n
- Collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure the hotel is well-presented and functioning efficiently

- Relevant experience in a similar night audit or front office role, preferably within the hospitality industry

- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills to ensure accurate financial reporting

- Excellent communication and customer service skills to effectively handle guest inquiries and concerns

- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

- Proficiency in using hotel management software and other relevant computer applications

- A commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences and a genuine passion for the hospitality industry

- Applicants must be available to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
