Are you an experienced Senior HR Generalist who enjoys being pivotal in the business, working with people at all levels and having the autonomy to make things happen?

With the head office based in Ravenhall, this is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the day-to-day HR function for a national business of approximately 100 employees, predominantly supporting a blue-collar workforce across multiple locations.

You'll take ownership of:

n

n
- Recruitment & onboarding - managing the end-to-end recruitment process and coordinating onboarding, induction and offboarding
n
- Employee engagement & retention - supporting initiatives that improve engagement, retention and the employee experience, including pulse checks and exit interviews
n
- Performance & development - coordinating performance reviews and supporting managers with performance, development and underperformance matters
n
- HR systems & reporting - owning Employment Hero, maintaining accurate employee records, improving system utilisation and providing HR reporting
n
- Employee relations - providing practical support on workplace matters, conflict resolution and people issues, escalating more complex matters when required
n




- HR policies & processes - maintaining and improving HR policies, procedures and processes
n
- Payroll & compliance - working with the payroll provider to support accurate payroll, leave, superannuation and employee entitlements, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and awards
n
- People projects - supporting remuneration reviews, talent development, and other HR initiatives

You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in a generalist HR role
n
- Experience across blue and white-collar environments, ideally within a multi-site or multi-state workforce
n
- Robust end-to-end recruitment experience
n
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and award interpretation
n
- Experience supporting engagement, retention and performance initiatives
n
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to employee relations
n
- The confidence to work independently and manage the full breadth of HR activities
n
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline
n

You'll be the key HR contact for the business, with the opportunity to build strong relationships across a predominantly operational workforce.
