- You will ideally be highly reflective of your teaching practice, committed to evidence-based decision making and confident in differentiating the Western Australian Curriculum to meet the diverse academic, social and emotional needs of K-6 students.
- Teachers are expected to know their students well and use evidence, assessment and professional judgement to inform their practice and respond to individual learning needs.

What you need

- With over 90% of our student population and 50% of staff being of Aboriginal heritage, an understanding of the educational and social challenges of a remote setting and being able to work in a culturally responsive manner are essential to this role.
- hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.
