Bookais seeking two experienced Training Specialists to support a significant Commonwealth Government reform program.
n These positions will play a key role within a stakeholder engagement, education and change function, supporting the implementation of substantial legislative, operational and technology change.
n You will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering engaging, accessible and high-quality training to internal staff and potentially external stakeholders. The role requires someone who is confident facilitating to varied audiences and can take complex policy, regulatory, business process and ICT information and turn it into explicit, practical learning experiences.
n The Prospect Working closely with Education Specialists, subject matter experts and operational teams, you will deliver instructor‐led training, workshops, briefings and capability uplift activities.
n The program is operating in a complex and fast-moving environment, so we are looking for experienced facilitators who can quickly understand new subject matter, engage confidently with stakeholders and adapt their delivery approach to different audiences.

n

You will be responsible for:

n

Delivering engaging face-to-face and virtual training sessions, workshops, briefings and information sessions

n

Working with SMEs to understand policy, regulatory, operational and system changes

n

Translating complex information into practical and easily understood learning

n

Creating inclusive and interactive learning environments





n

Coordinating training activities including scheduling, learner communications, attendance and logistics

n

Assessing participant understanding and adapting facilitation approaches where required

n

Gathering and analysing participant feedback

n

Evaluating training effectiveness and identifying opportunities for improvement

n

Supporting the development of training materials, modules and educational content

n

Building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders

n

Reporting on participation, engagement, feedback and capability outcomes

n

Supporting broader adoption of new processes, systems and legislative reforms.

What We're Looking For To be competitive for these opportunities, you should demonstrate:

n

Strong experience facilitating instructor‐led training, workshops or capability development programs

n

Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills

n

Experience delivering training in both virtual and face-to-face environments

n

The ability to explain complex policy, legislation, business processes or ICT systems to diverse audiences

n

Experience evaluating training effectiveness and applying continuous improvement

n

Solid organisation and coordination skills across multiple concurrent training activities

n

Experience working collaboratively with subject matter experts and operational teams

n





The ability to operate effectively within a fast‐paced program or transformation workplace.

n

Highly Regarded Experience or qualifications in the following areas will be particularly valuable:

n

Training and Workplace Assessment or related tertiary qualifications

n

Delivery of training to high‐profile or highly scrutinised audiences

n

Training or education associated with regulatory or legislative reform

n

Training relating to the implementation of new ICT systems

n

Strong knowledge of contemporary adult learning and training methodologies.

Mandatory Eligibility Requirements Please carefully review these requirements before applying.
n Applicants must:

Be an Australian Citizen

n

Hold a current AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance or higher

n

Be able to satisfy the required Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check requirements

n

Candidates who do not currently hold at least a Baseline AGSVA security clearance will not be able to be considered for these positions.

n

APS6 equivalent

n

Commencement: anticipated 13 October 2026

n

Initial term: through to 30 June 2027

n

Extensions: up to a further 12 months, structured as 2 x 6-month extensions

n

Hours: up to 40 hours per week.

n
