About the role
We are seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant who can deliver high-quality, timely preparation and service of meals, enhancing the dining experience for our residents while supporting their lifestyle and dietary needs.
Salary:$64,960.40 per annum or $32.87470 per hour plus 25% casual loading,
based on skills and experience plus 12% superannuation (pro-rata for part-time employment)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of all meals
- Ability to follow a menu to provide balanced nutritious meals, ensuring resident dietary requirements and preferences
- Ensure the kitchen and kitchenettes are stocked
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and the BSL Food Handling Procedure
- Complete daily, weekly and cyclical cleaning duties as outlined
- In collaboration with manager, set goals and objectives to ensure outcomes are met
