We are representing a leading independent Australian law firm, with an exciting opportunity within their Technology, Media & Telecommunications practice group.

The position offers flexibility to be based in either their Sydney or Melbourne office.

The role
n
This role will see you working closely with Australia's leading TMT partners with considerable exposure across a variety of sectors and industries.
n
The role requires an interest in technology, privacy and cyber matters, with responsibilities covering a broad range of commercial, regulatory and advisory work. This includes:
n
n
- Exposure to technology contracts and procurement, emerging technology issues, privacy and data compliance; as well as,
n
- cyber risk, preparedness and response management.
n
n
About You
n
You will be a commercially minded lawyer with around 2–4+ years PAE, ideally gained in a mid-top tier national or international firm, private practice or in-house environment.
n
You will also bring:
n
n
- Extensive experience across Technology, Media and Intellectual Property practice with the ability to manage a variety of complex matters
n
- Robust technical legal and analytical skills, supported by solid academic credentials.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex issues and provide clear, practical advice.
n
