About the role
MSS Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Officer – Reliever to provide security coverage across our client sites in Gladstone, Rockhampton and Blackwater.
This is a diverse role working across maritime, court, mining and static guarding environments, with duties including screening, access control, customer service and general security operations. The successful applicant must have 24/7 availability and flexibility to work across all three locations as required , including DIDO shifts in the Blackwater area.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitor CCTV systems, perform access control duties and respond promptly to alarms.
- Perform regular foot patrols to maintain a secure and secure environment
- Provide excellent customer service with visitors, contractors and stakeholders.
- Manage building access by checking IDs,
creating access passes, and authorising entry.
Skills & Experience
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Current QLD Security License
- Current QLD Driver’s License (Manual)
- HLTAID011- Provide First Aid, HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support, HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (or willing to obtain)
- OH&S; Construction Induction White Card(or willing to obtain)
- 24*7 availability including weekends
- Willing to undergo and pass a National Police and Criminal History Check and full Medical Assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol test
- Willing to obtain an MSIC (Maritime Clearance - MSS will fund for this)
