Administration Assistant - Safety and Compliance

Sci-Fleet Motors, Australia's largest Toyota Dealer, is seeking an energetic and passionate individual to join our friendly team at our Taringa Office. We are a family owned and operated business that prides itself on high ethical standards and a strong customer focus.

We are now seeking a part-time Administration Assistant (approx. 24 hours per week) to support our Safety and Compliance Team.
Reporting to the Compliance Manager, you will support the wider Safety & Compliance Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all internal enquiries both over the phone and in person in an efficient and helpful manner.
- Assist the Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Advisor with:
- Toolbox Talks
- Safety Audits
- Managing WHS Training Data
- Support all WHS admin tasks including incident tracking and training compliance.
- Support a broad range of Safety & Compliance administration activities including record management, training administration, compliance registers and documentation control.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed including supporting Injury Management / Return to Work Advisors and / or the Quality Team.
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong administration background (at least 1 years’ experience) with WHS experience (highly regarded)
- A relevant Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, WHS or Qualification (desirable)
- Qld Drivers Licence with a sound driving record mandatory at all times
- Confident communicator, able to engage with floor teams and management.
- Organised, self-driven, and comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- Support the promotion of a proactive and team-oriented safety culture through effective administration and compliance support.
- Excellent IT Skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed including supporting Injury Management / Return to Work Advisors and / or the Quality Team.
- Demonstrated experience in an administration role, with a strong understanding of workplace health and safety (WHS) compliance practices and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, organise and prioritise work, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated high-level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, together with the ability to quickly learn and use current systems and business applications.
- Demonstrated well-developed verbal and written communication skills,
including effective listening skills and the ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills, systems and processes to develop a broad understanding of the Safety and Compliance function.
