ABOUT THE ROLE

n

We're looking for a friendly and motivated Weekend Supervisor to join our Cooktown Hardware team. This casual role is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping customers, supporting a team, and keeping a busy store running smoothly.

n

You'll work closely with the Branch Manager and team to deliver great customer service, support sales, and help create a positive and safe workplace.

n

Our store is open seven days a week, so weekend availability is required.

n

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

n

In this role, you'll help with day-to-day store operations, customer service, team support and stock coordination. Hardware or building industry experience would be helpful, but what matters most is a positive attitude, confidence with people and a willingness to learn.

- Support customers with orders, quotes and product enquiries
n
- Follow up quotes, orders and any delays with customers and builders
n




- Help monitor stock levels and keep the store running smoothly
n
- Lead by example and promote a safe, positive team culture
n
- Coach and support team members with product knowledge and customer service
n
- Work with the Branch Manager and team to achieve strong sales and service outcomes
n

ABOUT YOU

n

n
- Previous supervisory experience
n
- Friendly, approachable and confident working with customers and team members
n
- Strong communication and organisation skills
n
- Able to work independently and prioritise tasks
n
- Customer focused with valuable attention to detail
n
- Physically able to safely lift and handle goods
n
- A Forklift Licence (LF) would be handy but is not essential.
