About KidsPro

KidsPro provides individualised movement and personal training sessions for children, including children with disability and additional support needs.

Our sessions are designed to make movement fun, engaging and achievable. We use games, structured exercise and movement-based activities to support areas such as strength, balance, coordination, locomotion, body awareness, motor skills, confidence and participation.

Every session is tailored to the individual child, their abilities and their personal goals.

The Role
n
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Children's Personal Trainer to deliver one-on-one weekly sessions with children across Melbourne's Bayside and surrounding south-eastern suburbs.
n
This is a mobile role, with sessions delivered at schools, homes and community locations.
n
We provide extensive onboarding and ongoing training covering our programs, session structure, movement progressions, working with children with additional needs and our approach to client development.
n
Your Responsibilities
n
n
- Plan and deliver engaging one-on-one movement and personal training sessions
n
- Adapt sessions to suit each child's abilities, needs and individual goals
n
- Motivate children through a positive, energetic and encouraging approach
n
- Develop strength, coordination, balance, movement skills and confidence through structured activities
n
- Monitor progress and complete session notes and assessments
n
- Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers
n
- Collaborate with Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and other allied health professionals where required
n
- Maintain a high level of reliability and consistency with your weekly client schedule
n
n
About You
n
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and can build strong relationships while confidently leading physical activity sessions.
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- A qualification in Personal Training, Fitness or a related field
n
- A natural ability to connect and engage with children
n
- A strong understanding of fundamental movement skills and exercise technique
n
- The ability to adapt activities to suit different abilities and needs
n
- Solid communication skills with parents, caregivers and professionals
n
- A positive, patient and energetic approach
n
- Excellent reliability and commitment to ongoing weekly sessions
n
- A valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- A current Working with Children Check
n
n
Experience working with children with disability, developmental differences or additional needs is highly regarded, however comprehensive KidsPro training will be provided.
n
