Job Description

Our client, The Gap Village Doctors, is seeking an experienced Locum General Practitioner to join their team in December 2026. This is a contract position offering flexibility around weekend and weekday shifts, with remuneration at 70% of the standard rate or $180 per hour, whichever is more favourable. Accommodation and travel arrangements can be discussed to suit the successful candidate.

Preferred Requirements

- Current registration with AHPRA as a General Practitioner

- FRACGP or FACRRM qualification

- Locum experience and comfort working across varied shift patterns

- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage a diverse patient caseload
n
- Qualified communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care
n

Preferred Qualifications

- Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
n
- Current CPD accreditation and professional indemnity insurance
n
- Previous locum experience in Australian general practice settings
