What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a Patient Accounts/Billing Clerk to work in a quick-paced environment on a casual basis. The role reports directly to the National Billing Manager and is responsible for all patient billing and associated administrative duties. These include managing Daily Debtor targets in accordance with expected KPI’s and providing excellent customer service to our patients and visitors.

Ideally you will have the following:

Essential Criteria

- Exceptional numeracy skills
- Sound knowledge and proficient skills of all Microsoft Office applications




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills including; ability to take initiative, application of problem solving, and capability in decision making
- Knowledge of billing health funds, health fund contracts and general office administrative duties preferably in a health care environment.
- WebPas Patient Management system (or ability to rapidly learn new data systems)
- Eclipse billing experience
- Immunisation evidence and additional serology report

Desirable Criteria

- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Banking procedures/Eftpos/accounts/patient billing.
- Experience in debt collection
