The Role
As a Forklift Operator / Dockhand, you’ll be part of a high-performing team in our Meadowbrook AM Operations, ensuring freight moves safely and efficiently through our network.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Early AM shift – permanent full-time position
Safely loading and unloading freight, including palletised and oversized items
Handling general freight with care to ensure secure and damage-free transport
Dockhand duties such as sorting, scanning,
and staging freight for interstate and local distribution
Following strict safety procedures and contributing to a zero-harm workplace
Duties will be split between forklift operator duties and freight handler duties as per operational requirements
This is a hands‑on freight handling role that requires accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced workplace.
What You’ll Need
A current and valid Forklift License
Proven forklift experience – minimum 1 year preferred
Freight handling experience in a transport, logistics, or warehouse environment
Experience loading and unloading interstate road freight trailers (preferred)
Ability to work efficiently in early AM operations and meet tight schedules
A solid commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
AM shift – early morning start, Monday to Friday
Overtime available when required
