Venue Operations Manager | The Prince Consort

Ready to take the next step towards leading your own venue? Redcape Hospitality is looking for an experienced hospitality leader to join The Prince Consort as Venue Operations Manager (2IC) at one of our flagship entertainment venues in Fortitude Valley.

Working alongside the Venue Manager, you'll help lead a fast-paced, high-volume venue where major events, DJs and busy late nights demand confident leadership. You'll build the commercial, operational and people leadership skills to confidently lead your own venue.

What you'll do

- Support daily operations across a multi-faceted operation
- Lead shifts with confidence and deliver outstanding customer experiences
- Lead the venue in the Venue Manager's absence
- Coach, support and develop team members while maintaining high standards
- Oversee rostering, stock control, cash management and daily operational routines
- Maintain compliance, presentation and operational standards across the venue





What we're looking for

- Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced, high-volume pub, hotel or entertainment venue
- Confidence leading teams across gaming, bar, bistro and events
- The ability to build a positive team culture where people feel supported and enjoy coming to work
- Strong knowledge of venue compliance, liquor and gaming regulations, with experience maintaining operational standards
- Experience with venue administration, rostering, cash management and reporting
- Current RSG, RMLV certification and a Queensland Approved Manager licence?
