As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Commercial Property Lawyer (2–6+ years PQE) to join our expanding team.

As our practice continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated Commercial Property Lawyer (2–6+ years PQE) to join our expanding team.

About the Role

n

Working closely with an experienced partner, you will advise on a broad range of high-quality commercial property matters, including acquisitions and disposals, commercial and retail leasing, property development, and strategic property advisory work.

n

This role offers significant autonomy, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to manage your own matters from commencement through to completion, with ongoing mentoring and support.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Acting on commercial, industrial, and retail property transactions
n
- Drafting, reviewing,



and negotiating contracts of sale and vendor statements
n
- Advising landlords and tenants on commercial and retail leasing matters
n
- Assisting with property development transactions and structuring
n
- Conducting due diligence for property acquisitions and disposals
n
- Advising clients on planning, zoning, and other property-related issues
n
- Managing transactions from initial instruction through to settlement
n
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
n
- Collaborating with partners and colleagues across the firm
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Admitted to practise in Victoria
n
- 2–6+ years' post-admission experience in commercial property law
n
- Strong experience in commercial leasing and/or property transactions
n
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
n
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Commercially minded with a practical, solutions-focused approach
n
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team
n
- Well organised, proactive, and committed to delivering outstanding client service
n
