Job Description

Xero is seeking a Senior Data Engineer within the G&A; Data & Analytics team in Australia. You will build data products, pipelines and semantic layers powering decision making across Finance, PX, and Legal.

You will design and maintain a governed semantic layer in Snowflake, translating business concepts into metrics and definitions for trusted data and conversational access. The team focuses on Snowflake/dbt, scalable data models, and expanding an agentic/AI layer to enhance reporting and
