About the Role

Our two-hatted, fine-dining restaurant is seeking an experienced Section Waiter to join our dedicated team. This is a role for a genuine craftsperson, someone with fine dining experience at a two-hat, Michelin, or comparable calibre venue, ready to take the next step in a career defined by service excellence.

We're preparing for our upcoming summer season and welcome applications for full-time, part time, and casual positions.

About You

You are a career-driven hospitality professional with a calm, confident presence on the floor. You live and breathe service, and you understand that fine dining goes beyond delivering plates, it's really about reading a table, anticipating needs, and engaging guests with genuine warmth to help tell the story of the food, the wine, and the region. You run your section with precision and quiet authority, staying composed and solutions-focused under pressure, and you hold yourself to the highest standards without needing to be told.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver exceptional, polished service with warmth and professionalism

- Confidently communicate detailed knowledge of the menu, wine list, and winery story to guests

- Manage your section with confidence, maintaining high-end, two‑hat service standards

- Uphold consistency across food, beverage, and guest interaction

- Participate in daily briefings,



fortnightly tastings, and ongoing training

- Support seamless team operations and maintain a composed, solutions‑focused approach

- Represent the Ten Minutes by Tractor brand with passion and integrity

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience running a section in a fine-dining environment, with strong F&B; knowledge and genuine passion for hospitality and wine

- A confident, natural communicator with a calm, professional demeanour

- Availability across a rotating roster, Wednesday–Sunday, with Friday–Sunday essential, plus availability across the summer period (December–February)

- RSA required; WSET Level 2 or above highly regarded

- Reliable transport is essential, as the venue is not accessible by public transport

- Knowledge of, or passion for, the Mornington Peninsula wine region is a plus

- Must have full Australian work rights, visa sponsorship will not be considered
