At Better Connected, we are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enhances the wellbeing and independence of our clients. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Care Workers to join our growing team across the Sutherland and St George regions.

Due to strong client demand, we are particularly seeking applicants who are available to work between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, for a minimum of three days per week.

About the Role

As a Care Worker, you will provide tailored in-home support that enables clients to remain safe, independent, and connected within their community.

Responsibilities include:

- Providing personalised in-home support based on individual client needs

- Assisting with personal care, light domestic duties, and meal preparation

- Supporting clients with social engagement, community access, and companionship

- Promoting client choice, independence, and wellbeing

- Building positive relationships with clients and their families

- Providing services throughout the Sutherland and St George regions

- Delivering support during our peak service hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

What We're Looking For

- Permanent Part-Time and Casual opportunities available

- Minimum 12 months' experience in aged care, disability, home and community care, or a similar support role

- Availability to work between 8:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

- Availability for a minimum of three weekdays per week (additional availability is highly regarded)

- Compassionate, reliable, and flexible team members with excellent communication skills

- Ability to confidently deliver high-quality care and complete accurate documentation





- Relevant qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Individual Support, Nursing, or a related field (or currently studying or willing to enrol)

- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain)

- National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Ability to work across a variety of locations and support diverse client needs

Pay Rates

We pay under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award [MA000100] – Home Care, with hourly rates ranging from $32.61 to $36.23 per hour, depending on your classification, qualifications, and experience.
