Senior Legal Counsel & Legal Counsel | Property & Commercial Gold Coast | National legal team | Two opportunities

We’re working with a globally recognised business in the accommodation and property sector to recruit a Senior Legal Counsel and a Legal Counsel for its Gold Coast office.

Both lawyers will join the apartments and realty team, advising on matters across Australia. These roles would particularly suit property lawyers looking to move in-house and apply their experience within a large, active business.

The work will include:

- Property transactions and advice
- Strata and management rights matters
- Corporate and commercial agreements
- Franchising matters
- Working directly with stakeholders across the business to provide practical advice

The Senior Legal Counsel will take ownership of more complex matters, work closely with senior stakeholders and have the autonomy to help shape the legal advice provided to the business.

The Legal Counsel will work across a varied mix of matters, building on their property experience while developing broader commercial and in-house skills. Both roles sit within an established national legal team.





We’d be interested in speaking with lawyers who have:

- A strong foundation in property law, gained in private practice or in-house
- Explicit communication skills and sound commercial judgement
- An interest in working closely with a business and understanding its operations
- Experience in strata, management rights, accommodation, franchising or commercial work, although you don’t need to have covered every area
